The Godding Hollow Metropolitan District is a Title 32 Special District that has been established primarily for the purpose of financing and installing street, limited sanitation, and safety protection, improvements in the District; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Service Plan for the District approved by the Town of Frederick Board of Trustees on June 9, 2009, as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the property owners and taxpayers of the District. The District is located in the Town of Frederick, Weld County, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the Town of Frederick and Weld County do not provide.

The District may incur a maximum debt of $10,000,000. The District may impose a mill levy on taxable property within its boundaries, and may use various other revenue sources authorized by law to repay such debt.

The District may assess a maximum mill levy of 50 mills, as adjusted after January 1, 2009, to repay such debt.

The District must file an Annual Report to the Town of Frederick Clerk, the Weld County Clerk and Recorder, the Division of Local Government and the State Auditors office.

The District’s boundaries overlap with the boundaries of Weld County; School District RE1J – Longmont; Northern Colorado Water; Central Weld County Water; Town of Frederick; Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District; St. Vrain Sanitation District; Carbon Valley Recreation District; and High Plains Library District.
